J-Sol brings his latest single “Bullet in My Heart” to life. The British singer has teamed with Ashly Williams of R&B group June’s Diary for an acoustic performance of the emotional tune. Dressed in all white, the two exchange lyrics and harmonize effortlessly with a guitar player in the background.
“I’ve been a massive fan of Ashly prior to her joining June’s Diary,” J-Sol exclusively tells Rated R&B. “We both lost our mums tragically and have appeared on X-Factor shedding light on our story. There’s a sort of comfort being with somebody else grieving that can understand your pain. Ashly and I decided to come together using our pain and hurt through music to deliver this emotional record that I wrote on the night of my mother’s funeral.”
“Bullet in My Heart” will appear on J-Sol’s forthcoming EP that will feature collaborations from Conor Maynard, Mila J, Mishon and Anth Melo.
