Blood Orange is truly flourishing, and it’s evident in his debut COLORS episode.
With a bouquet of lavender flowers laying delicately on his left shoulder, the genre-bending maestro takes “Dark and Handsome” from his Angel’s Pulse mixtape and shapes it into an alluring performance that will leave fans breathless.
On October 11, Orange is set to release a classical album titled Fields. He is the genius behind the composition of all 13 songs that will be arranged by Third Coast Percussion.
“This was the first time I’ve written music that I’ve never played, and I love that,” Orange said in a statement. “It’s something I’ve always been striving to get to. Seeing what Third Coast Percussion had done with these pieces was magical.”
Orange will play select dates on Tyler, The Creator’s IGOR Tour this fall. He is also joining Tyler for his Camp Flog Gnaw Festival in November. The star-studded lineup includes Solange, H.E.R, and Daniel Caesar.
