The Colleagues (Karl “KP” Powell and Harrison Johnson) are on a roll. The platinum-selling production duo returns with their latest album Love Dates and Heartbreaks.
Released just in time for Valentine’s Day, the seven-track project is decorated with the duo’s modern stylings of R&B and an all-female list of features with the likes of Tiffany Evans, Lu Moore, Viibe, Wild B and more.
Lyrically, Love Dates and Heartbreaks discusses the complex nature of falling in love. “I wanted to tell a story on this album. I hope to inspire women to never give up on finding true love, no matter what it looks like,” KP tells Rated R&B.
Love Dates and Heartbreaks is the duo’s first offering since their sophomore album Another Love Story was released back in 2019.
