6LACK has a new platinum record gracing his walls.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) reports his East Atlanta Love Letter track “Pretty Little Fears” featuring J Cole is now certified platinum with over one million copies sold.
Since its global release in 2018, the T-Minus and Yakob-produced song has garnered more than 152 million streams on Spotify and 87 million views on YouTube.
Last year, 6LACK received gold plaques for his “Imported” collaboration with Jessie Reyez and his track “Switch.” The latter cut also appeared on the East Atlanta Love Letter album.
6LACK is becoming the king of collaborations. The occasional rapper-singer has recently lent his talents to a number of artists, including Alina Barez (“Morocco”), QUIN (“Mushroom Chocolate”), Gallant (“Sweet Insomnia”) and Tinashe (“Touch & Go”).
