Jhene Aiko Chilombo

‎Jhené Aiko is back in full effect. The Grammy-nominated serenader has dropped her long-awaited third studio album Chilombo.

Aptly titled after Aiko’s birth name, Chilombo is a dive into the California native’s journey of self-discovery. With the help of some high-profile features from Big Sean, Future, Miguel, H.E.R. and more, Aiko is going through the motions of putting herself first.

“Born Tired,” a soon-to-be fan favorite, discusses the fight to keep going when you are down and out. “‘Cause look how far you have come / and look at all you have been doing / look at who you have become / Baby, you gotta keep going,” Aiko croons on the song.

“I’m so excited to share these moments that have come and gone,” Aiko shared in a Twitter post just before the album dropped. “The most fertile lands were built from the fires of volcanoes.”

Aiko is embarking on The Magic Hour Tour with special guest Queen Naija in support of Chilombo, kicking-off on May 1 in Boston. Get your tickets at jheneaiko.com.
