Jhené Aiko has urban radio listeners sprung off her gold-selling single “P*$$Y Fairy (OTW).”
The naughty fantasy, produced by The Fiticuffs and Julian-Quán Việt Lê, has secured entry into the top 10 sector on urban radio. It marks Aiko’s first song in six years to advance to the top 10 area without a guest feature.
The breakout hit “The Worst” gave Aiko her first such title, topping the airplay chart in 2014. She claimed two other noteworthy hits on urban radio, including “Post to Be” and “Sativa.”
Aiko, who appears on The Dream’s new Sextape 4 album, just released an animated video for “B.S.” with H.E.R. The song is certified gold, as well as her latest album Chilombo and the Big Sean-assisted track “None of Your Concern.”
The singer-songwriter is anticipating greater success this era when she drops the deluxe edition of Chilombo in June.
