Expect for John Legend to put you in the mood with his seventh studio album. He has announced his highly anticipated album Bigger Love will arrive on June 19.
The exciting news was declared a few days after the release of the video for the title track, which can be viewed below. The creative visual is a montage of dance clips, submitted by Legend’s fans across the world.
“This video was made to celebrate our shared love, hope and resilience,” Legend said. “We’re all using technology to stay in touch and finding creative ways to cope and we wanted the video to be a big musical hug for people around the world who are finding ways to stay connected to family, help their neighbors, and make time for a needed dance break despite the crazy circumstances we find ourselves in.”
In March, Legend shared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon the type of energy Bigger Love will give.
“It’s actually probably my sexiest album to date…if you spend a lot of time with your partner and you need a soundtrack to that,” he said.
Legend’s previously released songs “Conversations in the Dark” and “Actions” will appear on the album.
Bigger Love is currently available for pre-order. The album will serve as a follow-up to Legend’s 2016 LP, Darkness and Light, which debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200./
