The thrill of love is gone, according to Kaash Paige and her latest single “Jaded.”
Propelled by a nocturnal backbeat, the Def Jam signee is stuck in her feelings after experiencing some romantic friction with her stripper bae.
Paige fully understands that her stallion lover is all about her paper. Still, she is hurting inside knowing that their budding romance will also play second fiddle to the pole.
“Are you ready for commitment? Do you still be on games? / I’m going distant so you can feel my pain / But we just need some practice / ‘Cause lately we been causing static / Three dots, waiting for your reaction,” she sings.
“Jaded” follows Paige’s homage-inspired song “Frank Ocean.” The new song also comes weeks after Paige earned her first certified gold single for “Love Songs.”
