Jhené Aiko is soaking up the sun rays of “Summer 2020” in her latest music video.
The Eyes-directed visual throws it back to the inexpensive summer days of child’s play, capturing Aiko radiating in her natural beauty in a kiddie pool.
Her joy gets tested, as a cloud comes and rains on her outdoor parade. But you can’t have a rainbow without rain.
“Summer 2020” is taken from the deluxe edition of her gold-selling album, Chilombo, which was recently released. Initially, the Kool & the Gang-sampled track appeared on the standard version as an interlude.
The revised version of Chilombo includes a few remixes (“B.S.” featuring Kehlani and “Tryna Smoke” featuring Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg), as well as seven other tracks, of which one includes her sister Mila J.
