Queen Naija must really love her song “Butterflies.”
The social media star/singer released a second part of the 2018 song earlier this year. Now, she returns with the official remix for “Butterflies Pt. 2” featuring rapper Wale.
Coming in on the second verse, Wale raps about falling for a woman until he realizes he is nothing more than a side piece.
“So the burn is on, I’m like an arsonist / And the heart lust what the heart needs / You could part from me but still a part of me / And the funny thing, I was your side thing / But I ain’t seen your witness ’til quarantine,” he says.
The original version of “Butterflies” appears on Naija’s self-titled debut EP, which released in 2018. It included her other platinum-selling singles “Medicine” and “Karma.”
