Soulful songstress Snoh Aalegra is throwing it back to 2001 with her cover of Usher’s hit song “U Remind Me.”
Performed alongside producer and keyboardist Doctor O, Aalegra’s rendition of “U Remind Me” is a part of Genius and Burberry’s When Sounds Collide series.
The visual shows both Aalegra and Doctor O dripping in the latest Burberry fashions, while the former croons a mellowed-out version of the Usher classic tune.
Aalegra’s performance comes just over a year after the release of her breakthrough project Ugh, Those Feels Again. Her latest single “DYING 4 YOUR LOVE” is lifted from her forthcoming third album.
DJ Slick Vic recently unveiled a mash-up of the Swedish singer’s song “Whoa” and Maxwell’s “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder). Listen to it here.
