Ne-Yo and Jeremih could be cruising to the top spot on urban adult contemporary radio soon. Their lovey-dovey jam “U 2 Luv,” which was released in late May, has cracked inside the top 10 region on the same radio chart.
The song saw a 145 increase in radio spins, which is the fifth highest for the respective tracking week. It had 5.8 million audience impressions at the time it entered the top 10. It also placed fourth for the most new R&B radio station adds, with four.
On the streaming side, “U 2 Luv” has more than 8.8 million plays on Spotify. It also has 2.5 million views on YouTube.
“U 2 Luv” is the latest single from Ne-Yo forthcoming album that will release on Compound Entertainment/Motown Records. The lead single “Pinky Ring” will also appear on the untitled album.
