Days after transporting fans back to the ‘90s with their stunning rendition of Zhané’s “Groove Thang,” VanJess revamps their Homegrown Sessions with a mesmerizing live version of their new standout “High & Dry.”
With a charming band in the wing, VanJess, radiating as Nubian goddesses, swirl their captivating vocals within a whimsical garden setting. The high-spirited pair also are seen controlling the frame, rocking to their own beat with a jovial zest.
The performance of “High & Dry” follows their October live rendition of “Come Over,” which was deemed by Rated R&B as pleasingly aesthetic.
This summer, VanJess collaborated with Sinéad Harnett for her summer bop “Stickin’” featuring the self-termed trap jazz maestro Masego.
