Dana Vaughns continues laying down more groundwork for his upcoming project LSD. The actor/singer has released the new single “Girlfriend,” produced by Stox.
Over a trendy production, with whistle elements, Vaughns’ trippy and catchy vocals are decidedly direct when it comes to letting wide-eyed men know his girl is off-limits.
Before releasing “Girlfriend,” Vaughns shared the title track for his 2021 project. The song was produced by multi-platinum producer Harv. A music video followed shortly after its release. Watch it here.
Speaking on the latter track, Vaughns said, “My goal is for this song to strengthen people’s hearts. Love who you love, always be honest with yourself, and remember to enjoy the process.”
Earlier this year, Vaughns has dropped additional songs: “We Can Party” and “My Way.” They are expected to appear on the follow-up to 2019’s Familiar Strangers.
