For most of the year, Chloe x Halle have shown new and established artists alike how to sell an album to the general public. From touching virtual main stages like the BET Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards, the Grammy-nominated sister duo has mastered the art of giving fans a show. Chloe x Halle now take their efforts NPR’s Tiny Desk series for the first time to promote their critically-lauded LP Ungodly Hour.
In their nearly 20-minute set, the two angelic performers lay down super divine vocals for harmonious and run-heavy renditions of fan-favorites “Don’t Make It Harder on Me” and “Baby Girl.”
Of course, “Do It,” the duo’s first RIAA certified single, was performed and done with such ease and pretty girl swag. The title track was also played, as well as their 2021 Grammy-nominated single “Wonder What She Thinks of Me.”
On December 10, Chloe x Halle will be presented with the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Billboard Women in Music celebration.
Ungodly Hour, which landed on Rated R&B’s mid-year best R&B albums list of 2020, is nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards. They also scored a Best R&B Song nod for “Do It.”
