Expect to see more of Prince Charlez this year. The acclaimed singer-songwriter is back with a new song titled “Water,” and it sinks any doubt of his return.
Charlez brags about his versatile musicality and his escape from his environment to make a name for himself on the crystal blue track.
In becoming one with the “Water,” Charlez realizes that his drip is what those who envy him want a taste of in their season of drought.
With the new song, Charlez delivered a top-quality music video, which was directed by Daniel Oramas. Watch it above.
“Water” is the first offering from his forthcoming debut album. It will serve as the project follow-up to 2017’s Evolution. No date for the new album has been announced.
On the songwriting side, Charlez has been in the lab working on Mary J. Blige’s 14th studio album. He previously worked on Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You and Blige’s Strength of a Woman, among other albums, respectively.
