Jazmine Sullivan is keeping her fans well-fed this year. The comeback diva has shared the new song “Tragic,” produced by Leven Keli.
“Tragic” finds Sullivan reclaiming her time after having an unpleasant experience in the bedroom with a man who talked a good game.
“When your dick is tragic / Who was lying when they told you you was all that? / And we had it / Just another good laugh in our group chat,” Sullivan sings.
“Tragic” is the first new offering from Sullivan since the January release of Heaux Tales, her most recent project.
Earlier in the week, Sullivan’s return single “Pick Up Your Feelings” logged inside the top 10 on urban radio. It makes her first of its kind since 2010. The gold-selling single peaked at the top position on both R&B radio and the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart in March.
This Sunday, Sullivan will perform at the 2021 BET Awards. She is nominated for two awards, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year for Heaux Tales.
