T-Pain takes us to the Wild Wild West for his “I Like Dat” video featuring Kehlani.
With director Christian Breslauer, the rapper-turnt-sanga comes into town on his horse and buggy to sell his self-made “drank” to the townsfolk. Kehlani is one of the consumers, downing her drink and making out with a fellow townswoman, which arouses the gunslingers.
T-Pain’s presentation in the middle of town is a hit, collecting plenty of dough. He eventually meets up with Kehlani again in a saloon to perform the song before taking their act to another town.
“I Like Dat” is T-Pain’s first release of the year. In 2020, he dropped a slew of songs including, “Nook Bells,” “Get Up,” and “Wake Up Dead” featuring Chris Brown. He also appeared on Omarion’s “Can You Hear Me?”.
Kehlani has had a busy year so far. She teamed up with Amorphous for “Back Together” and appeared on the remix to Pink Sweat$’ “At Your Worst (Remix).”
She also received seven new platinum and gold plaques from RIAA.
