Less than a week after releasing her latest summertime bop, “Pasadena,” featuring Buddy, Tinashe returns with the music video directed by Micaiah Carter.
In the dance-heavy video, the singer-songwriter is seen at various points high in the hills, soaking in the sun with a detailed dance routine. Tinashe eventually links up with Buddy at a cabin where the two relax as he takes us through his verse.
“Pasadena” serves as the first single from Tinashe’s upcoming project, 333. It will mark her non-holiday return following the release of her Comfort & Joy EP in November 2020.
333 is also the follow-up to her 2019 independent album, Songs For You. The set included singles “Die A Little Bit” and “Touch & Go” featuring 6LACK.
In 2020, Tinashe collaborated with a few artists, including Iggy Azalea (“Dance Like Nobody’s Watching”) and THEY. (“Play Fight”). She debuted the previously vaulted track “Rascal (Superstar),” along with countless Songs For You remixes.
