Sevyn Streeter has teamed with rising rap artist Bia on “Nasty Girl,” the second proper single from her upcoming album Drunken Wordz Sober Thoughtz, due on September 17.
Liquid courage is on Streeter’s side for this T Street and Charlie Heat-produced track. Her cadence exudes pop versatility while her lyrical action gives off unapologetic. The reason? She pulled up to her loverboy’s house to explore guilty pleasures, and his main squeeze was there. Cold indeed.
“Ain’t got no inhibitions, no fight (Yeah) / Listen to my intuition tonight (Listen) / Broke up with your bitch and now she cryin’ (My bad) / And this p*ssy purrin’ like a lion,” she sings.
Bia’s saucy cameo works well on Streeter’s ticket to airplay, spitting lines about keeping things luxurious for her potential partner.
Drunken Wordz Sober Thoughtz is Streeter’s first album since 2017’s Girl Disrupted, which spawned the number-one R&B single “Before I Do.” The 15-track LP will feature the early single, “Guilty,” featuring Chris Brown and A$AP Ferg.
Lucky Daye, Jeremih, and Lavish make appearances on Drunken Wordz Sober Thoughtz.
Streeter’s one-off 2020 singles “Kissez” and “HMU” will not appear on the new album but are equally wonderful and available to revisit while we wait for its release.
