Ahead of dropping his second album SASSY next week, Kyle Dion puts out the new song “Parmesan” and its supporting video.
This saucy number — no pun intended — downright has times where it reminds fans of a Neptunes production from 2004, while the lyrics, Dion said, were written with Baby Keem’s 2019 song “Orange Soda” in mind. He uses the grated cheese topper as a metaphor to describe how fly he is. I guess you could say that he’s the big cheese around these parts.
Released in conjunction with the song, the accompanying visual features Dion dining at a restaurant named after his future album, competing at said spaghetti eating contest. This competition is a comparison for something a lot wilder than what one may think. Watch the music video to find out what.
“Parmesan” is the latest release from the 2019 SUGA follow-up SASSY, arriving September 17. The LP follows the songs: “Money,” the Ja Rule-assisted “Placebo,” and “Purr” featuring Kari Faux.
