Lifetime has released a trailer for its upcoming original movie Line Sisters. The film will premiere on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. EST on the network. Ta’Rhonda Jones and Drew Sidora also co-star in the movie.

Directed by Tailiah Breon, the thriller follows four Alpha Beta Omega Sorority sisters who reunite at a Black Greek Weekend celebration at the Outer Banks.

Fifteen years prior, their dean of pledges died mysteriously. When they arrive at the Outer Banks, the past begins to haunt them as strange things happen to each one of them.

Luckett shared, “Y’all!! Truth be told, I’m a scaredy-cat 😫 I don’t do horror films, BUT THIS?!? After reading the script I felt it was very necessary & when you see this movie…you’ll understand why!”

Sheard-Kelly added, “I really don’t know what God is up to but I’m super thankful and down for the ride! I’m super thankful for the directors/ producers/ network/ managers/ everyone who agreed to include me for the opportunity.”

In music news, Sheard-Kelly released her inspirational album, Kierra, in 2021. She also contributed to Eric Bellinger’s Grammy-nominated album, New Light.

In an interview with Rated R&B, Sheard-Kelly revealed that she isn’t opposed to recording an R&B album in the future.

“I could see myself doing that for sure, especially now that I’m married,” she said. “There’s a different letter that I’m now writing to myself as a wife [and] to my husband — the King that he is in my life. I absolutely can see myself writing a love song to him or having an album that is of love songs for him.”

As for Luckett, the former Destiny’s Child member has been relatively quiet. In 2017, she returned with her third album, Back 2 Life. In 2019, she shared her Tank-penned track “Feeling” as well as a holiday tune, “Love on Christmas.”
