As Chris Brown prepares to release his tenth album, Breezy, next week, the R&B superstar has teamed with Nigerian singer Wizkid for a new track titled “Call Me Every Day.” It was co-produced by DJ Tunez, Blaise Beatz and Leon Youngblood.
Over an Afrobeats-meets-jazz production, Brown and Wizkid serenade their respective woman with comforting lyrics.
“Girl, I love you, plus I’ll never make you minus / If I let you smoke, is you gon’ lose my lighter? / If you paranoid, then I’ma spend the night,” Brown sings in the first verse.
“Call Me Every Day” is easily the new summer anthem, bound to get bodies moving to its mid-tempo, rhythmic production.
“Call Me Every Day” is the follow-up to Brown’s bedroom anthem, “WE (Warm Embrace).” Both tracks will appear on Brown’s new album, which releases June 24 via RCA Records.

In addition to Wizkid, Breezy also features appearances from Yung Bleu, Ella Mai, H.E.R., Lil Wayne, Blxst, Anderson .Paak, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, Tory Lanez and Est Gee. Breezy will follow Brown’s 2019 album, Indigo, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and featured the Grammy-nominated single “No Guidance” with Drake.
Brown will support his Breezy album on his One of Them Ones Tour with rapper Lil Baby. The 27-city tour kicks off on July 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina. From there, Breezy and Lil Baby will hit major cities across North America, including Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York City, Toronto, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, before wrapping up on Aug. 27 in Las Vegas.
In May, Brown appeared on Nick Cannon’s R&B-inspired album, The Explicit Tape: Raw & B, on a song called “I Do.”
