Josh Levi has shared a new performance of his song “Nosebleed.”
It’s set in a red-colored space, with Duckwrth‘s guitarist JHawk in the wing. Wearing a white A-shirt and white pants, Levi begins and ends his set with a ball of energy. He takes the song title literally when his nose starts to hemorrhage mid-performance.
“Nosebleed” is the opening track from Levi’s 2022 EP, Disc Two, a sequel to 2020’s Disc One. The project hit the shelves of digital retailers and streaming platforms last June on Issa Rae’s imprint Raedio in partnership with Atlantic Records.
“It feels like growth,” Levi told Rated R&B of Disc Two. “It feels like a coming-of-age moment for myself. It’s uncensored, more raw and honest. It’s Disc One on steroids.”
In summer 2021, Levi reintroduced himself on Rae’s imprint with Disc Two‘s lead single, “NASA,” which came with a Loris Russier-directed video.

In spring 2022, Levi maintained momentum with “Vices,” which he described to Rated R&B as “a storytelling song.”
That summer, Levi embarked on a headlining Vices Tour in support of his recent EP Disc Two. He later issued a music video for “All Over Again” and campaigned with Vevo with two performances.

Aside from his solo work, Levi’s voice can be heard on “Nobody Like U, lifted from Disney and Pixar’s Oscar-nominated animation, Turning Red. The song, certified gold by the RIAA, was written by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell.
Levi performed the pop track alongside O’Connell, Jordan Fisher, Topher Ngo and Grayson Villanueva, all of which starred in the film.
“Nobody Like U” is nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
The 2023 Grammy Awards airs Sunday, Feb. 5, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS. It will also stream live and be on demand on Paramount+.
