JAWAN.mp3 has released his new single “Still (For You),” produced by Tonye Ayeba.
On “Still (For You),” crafted around a shadowy, quasi-hip-hop backdrop, JAWAN.mp3 casually sings about holding space in his heart for an ex. While reconciliation isn’t the motive, he knows he’ll never get over this particular interest, no matter how much he tries.
JAWAN.mp3 worked on “Still (For You)” for two years until he got it perfect.
“I don’t shy away from vulnerability in my music. It’s actually where I feel the safest expressing myself. And this single is no different,” says JAWAN.mp3.
“Making ‘Still (For You)’ was a way to reconcile my residual feelings from a past relationship. I’m basically saying, ‘I’m okay with things being over, but here’s what I’ll always hold for you.'”

“Still (For You)” is the lead single from JAWAN.mp3’s upcoming project, Reverie: The Expansion, out this spring. According to press materials, the record will include “extended tracks from his November 2021 EP The Abstract and several new songs.”
JAWAN.mp3 kicked off the campaign for The Abstract with a two-pack release, “Assurance/Call Me,” in March 2021. A few months later, “Cause & Effect” was released as the next focus track.
On Spotify, “Only Want U,” lifted from The Abstract, is among JAWAN.mp3’s trending tracks and has garnered more than 275,345 streams at the time of publication.
Last spring, JAWAN.mp3 dished out “Get Back” as his only single of the year. It was originally the lead single to an EP titled The Expansion.
