Halle Bailey, also known as Halle, has announced a pair of intimate shows at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood, California.
The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter posted the announcement across her social media platforms on Friday (Nov. 8) afternoon.
As part of the residency, the two concerts are on Thursday, Nov. 14, and Thursday, Nov. 21, starting at 8:30 p.m. PST.
According to The Sun Rose website, Halle will perform new music, which could include her 2024 song releases: “Because I Love You” and “In Your Hands.”
Tickets for standing admission start at $38.11, and VIP tables for two start at $135.96. As of now, both shows have a waitlist available at dice.fm.
Noted earlier, Halle returned with new material this year, starting in March with “In Your Hands.” The sentimental track was produced by Dem Jointz and D. Phelps.
Describing the song, Halle said, “It’s a love song but also an empowerment song to ourselves and a reminder that we are a one-of-a-kind special being and that we’re worth more than all the diamonds and gold in the world.”
Subsequent to its release, “In Your Hands” entered the Billboard charts, making top 10 premieres on R&B Digital Song Sales (No. 3) and R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales (No. 9).
Following this, she collaborated with her sister, Chlöe, on “Want Me” from her sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise, and soon after, she returned to the spotlight with her solo track “Because I Love You.”
“Because I Love You’ is a song for anyone who has been deeply in love,” Halle explained. “It’s an anthem that tells the story of all of the beautiful passion and euphoria you can feel with that person.”
The song’s release was complemented by a visually engaging music video directed by Allie Avital.
“Because I Love You,” co-written by RAYE, achieved a third top-five debut for Halle on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart, landing at No. 3 for the week dated Sept. 14.
In addition to her music career, Halle is also making strides in acting, starring in the fraternity drama The Line, directed by Ethan Berger. Find local theater listings for The Line here.
