PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake‘s joint album, Some Sexy Songs 4 U (stylized as $ome $exy $ongs 4 U) is off to a strong start on Billboard.
The collaborative album opens at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 246,000 equivalent units sold in the first week.
It marks PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first chart-topper on this list and Drake’s 14. The rapper now ties with Taylor Swift and Jay-Z for the most No. 1s for solo acts on this chart. It’s worth noting The Beatles leads all with 19 No. 1s.

According to Billboard, Some Sexy Songs 4 U garnered 287.04 million on-demand streams in its opening week. Per Apple Music, the album made history with the most first-day streams for an R&B album.
Some Sexy Songs 4 U was released Feb. 14 via OVO Sound. It features appearances by Yebba (“Die Trying”), Chino Pacas (“Meet Your Padre”) and Pimmie (“Pimmie’s Dilemma”).
The 21-track project is Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first joint project, though they’ve occasionally collaborated since PARTY first signed to the label in 2013.
Some Sexy Songs 4 U is the follow-up to PARTY’s 2024 album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4), which dropped in April. The latter album debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, earning PARTY is first top 10 at the time.
P4 was preceded by the singles “Resentment,” “Her Old Friends,” “Real Woman” and “Lose My Mind.”
PARTY supported his album on his Sorry I’m Outside Tour, which took place over the summer. Drake made a surprise appearance at his Toronto stop in August to perform some of his collaborations with PARTY.
At the same show, they teased that they had a joint project on the way. They ultimately announced the official title and release date on Feb. 3.
As for Drake, Some Sexy Songs 4 U is his first project since releasing For All The Dogs in 2023. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 402,000 equivalent units sold.
