Chris Brown has collected yet another No. 1 on Billboard with his feature on Leon Thomas’ “Mutt (CB Remix).”
The remix moves from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Digital Song Sales chart dated April 5. It marks Brown’s seventh chart-topper out of his 56 top 10s.
According to Chart Data, the Brown-assisted remix of ‘Mutt’ contributed nearly half of the combined 90,000 sales recorded this past tracking week, which includes both the original version and the ‘CB Remix.'”
Brown’s last visit to the top was in February with his latest hit “Residuals” from his Grammy-winning album 11:11 (Deluxe). It’s worth noting that the aching ballad is currently No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Thomas released his Brown-assisted “Mutt (CB Remix)” on March 21 via EZMNY Records. On Spotify, the track has surpassed 6.6 million streams at the time of this writing.
Elsewhere on Billboard, the “CB Remix” rises from No. 11 to No. 5 in its second week on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, tallying Brown’s 40th top 10 hit. On the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart, “Mutt (CB Remix)” debuts at No. 24.
In other news, Brown recently joined his longtime collaborator Bow Wow on his new single “Use Me.”
He is also gearing up to launch his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium Tour this summer with special guests Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller. The tour will visit the U.K./Europe and North America. Walker will only appear on the North American leg.
