Chris Brown is ready to launch a new musical era. The R&B all-star has announced his new single, “Holy Blindfold,” will release June 13 via Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records.
Brown announced the news on social media, paired with a teaser visual of him emerging from a swirling portal, walking in dramatic slow motion to a mic. The short clip also serves as a nod to his upcoming stadium tour (more on that later).
“Holy Blindfold” will mark Brown’s first taste of music as a soloist since dropping his Grammy-winning 11:11 (Deluxe) album in April 2024.
Crowned Best R&B Album at the 67th Grammy Awards, 11:11 (Deluxe) includes Brown’s hit single “Residuals,” which topped multiple Billboard charts: R&B Digital Song Sales, Adult R&B Airplay and Hot R&B Songs, to name a few.
The extended version of Brown’s 2023 album 11:11 also featured collaborations with Bryson Tiller, Mario, Davido, Lil Wayne and more.
As indicated above, Brown will kick off his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour June 8 in Amsterdam. He will perform across the U.K. and Europe, with stops in Manchester, London, Dublin, and more before wrapping up the first leg in Paris on July 5.
The North American leg launches July 30 in Miami and will hit major cities, including Detroit, Toronto, Atlanta, Los Angeles and more. The tour wraps up Oct. 8 in Washington, D.C.
Brown will be joined by special guests Bryson Tiller, who will appear at all stops, Summer Walker and Jhené Aiko.
In other Brown news, the global superstar is nominated in three categories at the 2025 BET Awards: Album of the Year, Best R&B/Pop Artist and Viewer’s Choice Award (“Residuals”). The latter is the only fan-voted category. Fans can cast their ballot through June 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Hosted by Kevin Hart, the 2025 BET Awards airs live from Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
In November, Brown will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his classic debut album, Chris Brown.
