As Rated R&B first predicted, Charlie Wilson’s new single “Keep Me In Love” has reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

The Emile Ghantous and Wilson-produced track moves from No. 3 to the pole position in its 12th week on the chart. It marks Wilson’s 11th No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, breaking his three-way tie with Usher and Tank. In the 2020s decade alone, Wilson has nabbed five No. 1s (more on that later).

With his new hit, Wilson now reclaims the crown for the most No. 1s by a male artist. He also ties Toni Braxton for the second-most chart-toppers among all R&B singers, with Alicia Keys leading the pack (14).

Here is an overview of Charlie Wilson‘s No. 1 hits on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay Chart:

  • “You Are,” No. 1 for 13 weeks (2010)
  • “There Goes My Baby,” No. 1 for nine weeks (2009)
  • “Charlie Last Name: Wilson,” No. 1 for six weeks (2005)
  • “My Love Is All I Have,” No. 1 for five weeks (2013)
  • “One I Got,” No. 1 for five weeks (2020)
  • “Chills,” No. 1 peak for three weeks (2018)
  • “No Stoppin’ Us” featuring Babyface, K-Ci Hailey & Johnny Gill, No. 1 for three weeks (2022)
  • “Superman,” No. 1 for three weeks (2024)
  • “I’m Blessed” featuring T.I., No. 1 for two weeks (2017)
  • “Forever Valentine,” No. 1 for two weeks (2020)
  • “Keep Me In Love,” No. 1 for one week so far (2025)

“Keep Me In Love” was released July 11 via P Music Group. The feel-good jam debuted at No. 29 on the Adult R&B Airplay before rising to the top 10 in September, becoming Wilson’s 17th visit.
