Bruno Mars is back. The global star has returned with his new single “I Just Might,” which he co-produced with D’Mile.

On the dancefloor-ready track, Mars sings, “Hey, Mr. DJ / Play a song for this pretty little lady / ‘Cause if she dance as good as she look right now / I just might, I just might make her my baby.”

“I Just Might” is accompanied by a performance-driven music video, directed by Mars and Daniel Ramos.

“I Just Might” is the first single from Mars’ fourth album, The Romantic, which releases Feb. 27 via Atlantic Records. The long-awaited album follows his Grammy-winning 24K Magic, released in 2016.

Mars revealed on Monday (Jan. 6) that his first solo project in a decade was complete. “My album is done,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). The following day, Mars formally announced the album’s title and release date. “The Romantic coming 2.27,” he shared in a post that also noted new music would arrive on Friday.

This spring, Mars will embark on his first global stadium tour. The Romantic Tour, which he announced Thursday (Jan. 8), kicks off April 10 in Las Vegas. Mars will play 40 shows across North America, Europe and the U.K. through the fall. He will be joined by special guests Anderson .Paak and DJ Pee .Wee, Victoria Monét, Leon Thomas and RAYE.

On Instagram, Mars teased that he may incorporate songs from Silk Sonic, his duo with .Paak, in his setlist. He jokingly commented on .Paak’s post, “I’ll do some Silk Sonic songs with you on tour if you don’t piss me off!! But you’re probably gonna piss me off so nevermind. Now i’m pissed.”

Silk Sonic dominated 2021 with their Grammy-winning, breakout hit “Leave The Door Open.” The ’70s-inspired jam, produced by Mars and D’Mile, appeared on their album An Evening With Silk Sonic. After their clean sweep at the 64th Grammys, where they won four trophies, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, they decided to not submit their album for Grammy consideration.

“Andy and I, and everyone that worked on this project, won the moment the world responded to ‘Leave The Door Open.’ Everything else was just icing on the cake,” Mars said. “We’d be crazy to ask for anything more.”

An Evening With Silk Sonic debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 104,000 equivalent units sold in the first week.

Following the Silk Sonic era, Mars went on a mini feature run in 2024. He teamed with rapper Sexyy Red for their “Fat Juicy & Wet.” Then, he joined Lady Gaga for “Die With A Smile,” which spent five weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart and nabbed a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Later, he appeared on ROSÉ on “APT.,” which is nominated in three categories at the 2026 Grammys: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
