Alicia Keys is making her rounds, appearing on a recent episode of ABC’s Good Morning America.

During an interview with correspondent Lara Spencer, the Grammy-winning artist discussed her upcoming Keys to the Summer Tour, which kicks off June 28 at FLA Live Arena in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

She teased that it will be her most beautiful show yet, featuring a 360-degree “in-round production setup.” The tour will include performances of new songs from her hit album KEYS II, as well as rare fan-requested tracks.

“I’m putting songs that I don’t often get to sing in this show. So it’s about to be all-around good vibes, good energy,” said Keys.

Keys discussed her upcoming musical, Hell’s Kitchen, which takes inspiration from her upbringing in the Manhattan neighborhood of the same name. It will run at Newman Theater in The Public from Oct. 24 to Dec. 10 and officially launch on Nov. 19.

“It’s the experience of growing up in New York City, really chasing a dream, trying to find who you are, discover your identity and really follow your heart ultimately. It’s called Hell’s Kitchen. It is incredible. I have been developing it for over 11 years; it takes so long to get to this perfect place.”

Keys performed her hit single “Like You’ll Never See Me Again” with her band after her interview. The song, lifted from her 2007 album As I Am, topped Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for seven weeks.

“Like You’ll Never See Me Again” was certified platinum with over one million equivalent units sold in August 2020.

This week, Keys extended her own record on the Adult R&B Airplay chart with her song “Come For Me” featuring Lucky Daye and Khalid, making it her 14th No. 1 hit since her first one over two decades ago.

The collaboration appears on KEYS II, the sequel to her 2021 double album KEYS.

KEYS II includes previous chart-topper “Trillions” featuring Brent Faiyaz and her latest feature from Daye (“Stay”).
