Trevor Jackson taps Wale for the official remix of his bedroom banger “Right Now.”
The D.C. rapper sticks to the vibe of the song with his smooth verse. “Separate your thighs, unless that vibe is indecisive / Me, I can take my time, take my time because time is priceless,” he raps.
Produced by Troy Oliver & Troy Taylor, the original version of “Right Now” appears on Jackson’s debut album, Rought Drafts, Pt. 1, which released in March on EMPIRE.
In an interview with Rated R&B, Jackson spoke about his inspiration for the project. “Rough Drafts represents the beauty in imperfection,” he said. “I feel like this day in age so many people want to be something they’re not or be something they’re not ready to be yet.”
