Chloe x Halle served up nostalgic and futuristic tease just moments before the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards telecast tonight (August 30).
The Grammy-nominated duo performed the title track from their latest album, Ungodly Hour, which made Rated R&B’s 16 best R&B albums of 2020 so far list. Clad in a matching, metallic ensemble, the pair delivered a bombastic dance routine behind blinding lighting effects. Bottom line: Chloe x Halle did what needed to be done, and that is slay.
Last week, Chloe x Halle celebrated their first top 10 single on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart for “Do It.” The bonafide summer anthem served as the proper first single for their sophomore album.
