Chloe x Halle have done it. The Grammy-nominated sister duo’s “Do It” jumps eight spots in its 11th week on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart to show up in the top 10.
It marks Chloe x Halle’s first top 10 appearance on the respective chart, as well as their first top 10 entry on a chart based solely on radio airplay.
The second single from their newest album Ungodly Hour, which made it on Rated R&B’s 16 best R&B albums of 2020 so far list, is close to edging Rod Wave’s “Girl of My Dreams” out of the top 10 on urban radio.
The growing success of “Do It” was expected, especially with their crazed TikTok challenge and countless innovative performances.
Speaking on performances, Chloe x Halle are slated to ‘do it’ on the pre-show stage at the 2020 MTV Video Music Video Awards on Sunday, August 30. Hosted by Keke Palmer, the award ceremony airs live from several outdoor locations around New York City at 8 p.m. ET.
