It’s been a long time coming but Mariah Carey‘s 15th studio album, Caution, is available in full. This explosive body of work chronicles the songbird supreme’s journey from the last four years of her life since her underrated Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse.
Boasting 10 tracks, the short but apt album includes guest appearances from Slick Rick, Ty Dolla $ign, and Gunna. Prior to her Caution debut, Mimi shared four recordings to whet the appetites of the listeners who’ve long sought more of her delicious ear candy. First off the docket was “GTFO,” a luscious kiss-off. Afterward, she released the album’s lead single, “With You.” The Mustard-produced groove is making great gains at radio, resting currently at No. 11 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart.
The following weeks saw Carey share two infectious bops, “The Distance” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and “A No No.”
Now that Caution is out to the world, Carey will continue to chalk up attention for the new work. Tonight (Nov. 16), she will go “The Distance” with Ty on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Next week, she will continue her television blitz with appearances on Good Morning America (Nov. 19) and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan (Nov. 21).
