Putting on a stirring performance for an audience is in Jacob Banks‘ artistic DNA. The British lad dropped by Ellen to charm in-studio guests and at-home viewers with “Chainsmoking.”
Decked in a woven Levi outfit, Banks unleashed his soul-induced fury on stage as images of pyrocumulus clouds flashed in the background. His roaring band complimented his passionate vocals.
Banks has been showing off his rich baritone voice a lot lately. He blessed a London audience with a bluesy version of “Slow Up,” while belting “Caroline” in a pool locker room.
All three records are lifted from Banks’ debut album Village. The LP appeared on Rated R&B’s top 25 R&B albums of 2018.
Earlier this month, Banks concluded his North American tour. He will return to the stage in April to play shows overseas in France and Switzerland. Tickets information is available on his official website.
