Afropunk has announced the official lineup for the Brooklyn leg of their festival, and it features R&B’s finest performers.

Jill Scott has been named as a headliner for the two-day festival this August. Other performers on the bill include FKA Twigs, Gary Clark Jr., Nao, Masego, Tank and The Bangas.

From August 24-25, Afropunk Brooklyn 2019 will touchdown at Commodore Barry Park. Tickets are currently on sale on their official website.

Scott has been rather quiet on the music front. It’s been four years since the release of her number one album Woman. The LP featured singles “Fool’s Gold” and “Back Together.”

Scott starred as Lady Eve in CW’s Black Lightning in spring 2018. She also made headlines last fall after a sensual performance surfaced online. Trey Songz took advantage of Scott’s on-stage demonstration and sang about it on “Jill (Sumn Real).”
