Ella Mai didn’t miss her opportunity to go number one again on urban radio. “Shot Clock,” her latest radio single from her self-titled debut album, has soared to the top spot on the airplay chart, according to the current Mediabase tracking week.
The Mustard-produced track is now the third track from her eponymous debut to peak at number one. Her previous urban radio chart leaders include “Trip” and “Boo’d Up.”
Before March capped, Mai celebrated another milestone. At the 50th NAACP Image Awards, she won three awards, including Outstanding New Artist.
This April, Mai is playing Coachella and the Broccoli City Festival. She is also launching the second leg of her Debut Tour with special guests Victoria Monét and fellow British songbird Mahalia. The first show kicks off on April 23 in Oakland, California at The Fox.
Following her run of U.S. shows, Mai will support Ariana Grande on the European leg of her Sweetener World Tour in August. Mai will also perform at the 2019 Outside Lands Festival that same month.
Keep shining Ella Mai!
