Ciara may have a new album out, but it hasn’t stopped her from hitting the studio. Over the weekend, the R&B entertainer shared a behind-the-scenes look at her “really special” recording session with legendary songwriter Diane Warren.
Warren, who has written hits for Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, and Celine Dion, captured her own snapshot of their time in the lab, writing, “Cooking up something very cool with @Ciara in the studio last nite.”
Ciara and Warren’s recent pairing shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Back in 2015, the two joined forces for “I Got You,” which appeared on Ciara’s Jackie album.
As previously mentioned, Ciara’s latest album Beauty Marks is available everywhere. The Harvard scholar is gearing up for a five-city tour to support her first independent album. The first show is on September 13 in Puyallup, Washington.
