Ciara isn’t done leveling up. Months after launching two business ventures —Beauty Marks Entertainment and Why Not You Productions — Ciara gets accepted into Harvard University’s Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program.
The entertainer revealed the acceptance news to her millions of followers on Instagram with a photo of her dressed in a Harvard sweatshirt.
“I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thank for. This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement!”Ciara said.
Ciara, like many students enrolled in this Ivy League school program, will receive “an up-close examination of why some creative businesses thrive while others fail to survive.”
They’ll also “learn when to make smaller versus blockbuster bets, the best way to capitalize on market disruptions, and how to establish long-term competitive advantage.”
Beyond her higher education news, Ciara is making chart moves as well. Her new album, Beauty Marks, debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart. She also scored her first indie gold single with “Level Up” just days ahead of her album release.
As mentioned in our in-depth album review, “Beauty Marks is Ciara’s most personal album to date. The intent of the LP is more clear than some of her previous works: she has shared her experiences in hopes of inspiring others.”
