Taking a seat on a stool with D Mile on the keys, the Keep Cool/RCA Records signee slows down the groove and lets his suave vocal range beam.
Since the June break of his Daye One sessions, the R&B gent has shared three other performances, including “Concentrate,” “Karma,” and “Late Night.” Each track appears on his debut album Painted, which was co-signed by Raphael Saadiq at this year’s BET Awards.
Today (July 7), Daye will play at The Golden Era Superlounge on the closing night of the 2019 Essence Festival. In September, he will join Ari Lennox, Daniel Caesar, Tone Stith and more for H.E.R.’s self-curated Lights On Festival.
