Kehlani can do bad all by herself. The flower child of R&B has collaborated with EDM producer Zedd for a super empowering anthem titled “Good Thing.”
This well-crafted record exudes the confidence young, independent women need to hear about being happier, sexier and more content by themselves.
“I booked myself tables at all the best restaurants then eat alone / I buy myself fast cars so I can drive them real fucking slow / I like my own company, company I don’t need it / I’m not always cold, I’m just good on my own, so good on my own,” Kehlani sings.
“Good Thing” is one of Kehlani’s many collaborations this year. She recently linked with EARTHGANG, Arin Ray and Jean Deaux for their respective singles.
Before giving birth to her daughter Adeya in March, Kehlani treated her fans to new music and accompanying videos. Her While We Wait mixtape that she dropped in February, includes her hit “Nights Like This” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The song is now certified gold by the RIAA.The mixtape also includes guest spots by Musiq Soulchild, Dom Kennedy and 6LACK.
