Tank is unstoppable on the urban adult contemporary radio chart. A week after sharing details on his Elevation album, the R&B general’s latest single “I Don’t Think You’re Ready” cracks the top 10 on the radio format.
The late-night jam has garnered nearly five million audience impressions from airplay at 81 monitored stations. These new radio stats now contribute to Tank’s ninth top 10 single on the urban AC side.
He claimed his last number one hit here for “Dirty” back in April. It also topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.
If “I Don’t Think You’re Ready” continues to stay in rotation, it can also become Tank’s ninth top 10 record on the last-mentioned chart.
Tank is gearing up for the release of his Savage follow-up, which is set to arrive on October 25 via R&B Money/Atlantic Records. The new LP will include his two singles and his official “Dirty” remix featuring Chris Brown, Feather and Rahky.
Before Elevation drops, Tank will get a headstart on performing the new material when he joins Fantasia for her Sketchbook Tour. The U.S. trek, which also features Robin Thicke and The Bonfyre, kicks off on October 17 in Columbia, South Carolina. Tickets are online now.
