While we wait for Alicia Keys to wow us with her delayed ALICIA album, the celebrated musician treats fans with the official audio to the rare remix of “If I Ain’t Got You” featuring Kanye West.
In true Yeezy fashion, the background stylings contain a high-pitched effect that is reminiscent of those from his previous Chipmunk masterwork.
Even though Keys adds a few bells and whistles to her vocal performance and switches up a few lyrics, the acclaimed act keeps the romance essence of the Grammy-winning song intact.
Keys previously remixed “If I Ain’t Got You” with Usher, following the official release of the single in 2004. The West-assisted remix was also released during that time, along with a Black Eyed Peas and Spanish version

What Keys describes as a “secret treasure” is a hold-over for fans anticipating her next studio album ALICIA. The 15-track LP was originally slated to arrive on March 20, but was pushed back, amid the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
ALICIA is tentatively scheduled to arrive on May 15 via RCA Records. The album will include previously released songs “Time Machine” and “Underdog.” It will also include the urban AC radio chart-topper “Show Me Love” featuring Miguel.
