Alicia Keys has announced on social media that she has pushed back her highly anticipated album ALICIA, in wake of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. The celebrated musician is also postponing the tour for her upcoming book, More Myself.
“Everyone’s health and safety is the #1 priority,” wrote Keys. “Thank you for your deep love and support, I’ll let you know about new dates as soon as possible.”
According to iTunes, ALICIA, which was originally slated to drop on March 20, is now expected to arrive on May 15 via RCA Records.
The 15-track LP will include the record-extending R&B chart-topper “Show Me Love” featuring Miguel. It will also feature the two pre-album tracks “Time Machine” and “Underdog.”
Back in February, Keys collaborated with BBC Radio for their Live Lounge series. She performed new cuts and several classics, including “Fallin‘” and “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart.”
As fans await the arrival of the ALICIA album, Keys’ memoir More Myself will arrive on March 31.
