Anybody else ready to blast Alina Baraz’s forthcoming album It Was Divine in its entirety? It won’t be much longer, though.
As the clock races for the May 5 release, the indie enchantress unwraps a new song that she simply titles “Endlessly.”
Designed as a lush synth composition, Baraz’s alluring voice brings out the encompassing sound that she renders so distinctly and effortlessly.
“Show me where nobody goes / I’m lost in your kaleidoscope / I keep getting visions when you coming close,” she sings.
”Endlessly” also has the chilled-out soundscape of two songs that gives Baraz an edge on the other previously released singles, such as “More Than Enough,” “Morocco” featuring 6LACK and “To Me.”
It Was Divine is the subsequent release of The Color of You. The recent LP was featured on the 25 Best R&B Albums of 2018 list by Rated R&B.
