Quarantine is not stopping Kehlani from releasing great material, as the Grammy-nominated artist shares steamy video for “F&MU.”
Co-directed by Kehlani and Brianna Alysse under her Honeyshot Production company, the provocative video sees the Oakland native getting cozy with her lover all over her California home, teasing viewers with fiery dance moves and suggestive visual involving a banana.
Lyrically, the song discusses the silver lining of a toxic relationship with Kehlani reciting the lyrics “we fuck and make-up like it’s Maybelline” in the song’s chorus.
“F&MU” is the latest single from the singer-songwriter’s upcoming sophomore effort It Was Good Until It Wasn’t following “Everybody Business” and “Toxic.”
The highly-anticipated LP is set to drop on Friday, May 8.
