Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Avant never lets up on delivering his classic, soulful sounds. On his first album in five years, the R&B icon begs the question Can We Fall In Love for a new generation.
With the help of Travis Sayles of Darkchild Productions, Avant pushes his signature sound forward with a love letter of raw honesty and intensity. The project includes Avant’s previously released tunes “Edible” and “Not Gone Lose.”
‘It’s a different time in the world today and I’m trying to get people back to what real R&B is about,” Avant said about the album. “Not just making love but being in love, what happened to that? I think it’s important that we delve back into those kinds of things.”
Can We Fall In Love is the Clevland, Ohio native’s first album since 2015’s The VIII.
