With urban adult contemporary radio continuing to add “So Gone” featuring Khalid to the daily mix, Alicia Keys has released another track from her upcoming album ALICIA. It’s called “Love Looks Better,” and it was co-produced with Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella.
Keys lends her rousing vocal style to a thumping drum machine, and her calling card: brilliant piano playing. The lyrics deal with the celebrated musician yearning to put her love and energy into someone that is more tangible rather than worldly possessions.
Since delaying the release of her ALICIA album, due to the pandemic, Keys has made it her mission to keep music lovers engaged and hopeful with multiple songs.
Besides “Love Looks Letter,” the multi-awarded performer has shared four other songs this year from the album, including the Khalid-assisted duet, the painfully honest “Perfect Way to Die,” the heroic “Good Job,” and the powerful “Underdog.”
Keys officially kicked off the new album era with “Show Love” featuring Miguel nearly a year ago. It earned her one of many RIAA certifications in August.
